These bars were not an exaggeration. I don't know what came over me throughout the making of this album. I felt overwhelmingly sad. which isn't really a new thing, but it was severely amplified after BENEATH THE SUMMER STARLIGHT. This is around the time I started to lose interest/motivation in music.
I decided to produce the majority of beats on this project, similar to CAROLYNE IS NOT REAL. I wanted the beats to sound heavenly, as the main idea/story behind this album is supposed to be about the pursuit of the endless meadow. What is the endless meadow? it's supposed to be purgatory, or death. I love white lilies, they're common funeral flowers so I thought they fit the idea.
This cover was done by Aritana Lima (aritanaart on ig) I was drawn to the traditional/digital style of his art. His sketches are really, really really cool. I seriously suggest checking him out. I love the artwork for the singles! FAKE LOVE was done by Sarah Cramberry, REAL LOVE was done by rsal.art (ig) and Constant Rain was done by roseyxdraws (ig) For this album cycle, Carolyne is portrayed with a crown of lilies on her head.
